Arashi 30 Day Challenge for Interesting People.
First, I'll tell you what the lie was yesterday.
I never watched HanaDan with my host sister (though she did watch it). I was too busy watching Nobuta and being a Yamapi fan. It's a really good thing I didn't watch HanaDan, because it may have driven me into the arms of Yamapi forever. I watched pieces of HanaDan later, and I hate that drama. A lot.
Actually, I was Aiba-baited. I used to watch Tensai with my host family, and I recognized Aiba from the clips my friend had showed me before. It was Aiba who my host sisters pointed out in the Wish performances. Once I really delved into all of their TV shows Nino knocked Aiba out of the number one favorite spot, but he still remains a very close second favorite.
On March 2, 2009, through another Arashi friend, I was introduced to Corina (
yuri_senritsu). I know this exact date because I still have the aim logs. Thank you technology for filling in the holes in my feeble brain. >.> It also tells me that our very first one-on-one conversation was about this video in which Haruna Ai explains to Wada Akiko how her penis was turned into a vagina. We are classy people who began a long friendship in which we discuss very high brow topics.
We were supposed to be working on The Arashidex together, which sadly uh...I never did much of. We were randomly thrown together essentially because we both liked Arashi, but as I'm sure a lot of you know that's usually not enough to keep two people friends. For whatever reason we clicked, and ever since then we've talked almost every day. Even though we live halfway across the world from each other right now, we still talk usually twice daily, and bombard each other with emails while the other is sleeping xD I know that I can talk to her about anything without any filter, from squeeing over Arashi stuff to personal insecurities.
As far as friendships that begin online go, we've been friends - close friends at that - longer than anyone else I've ever met. Without Arashi fandom, I never would have known she existed.
